The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet

December 19, 2018 by Dana Goldstein

I can’t pretend I understood most of the science fiction, but I did understand the characters. They were colourful and rich and complex and harboured origin stories that I did not see coming. The small, angry planet was just a destination, not the story. I loved these characters through and through. I picked this book up for my son (who is 14 and loves all things science). I should have known it was good when he asked for the next book as soon as he turned the last page on this one.
